Sydney is an absolute delight! Came for happy hour with my parents while visiting from Hawaii and had a great time! Delicious food, OUTSTANDING service and great views (loved watching the sea lions play in the water at sunset). Recommend the calamari strips and teriyaki chicken tidbits from the Hawaiian Happy Hour Pupus menu. Happy hour is Mon-Fri 4-7PM They offer non-alcoholic beer, Heineken 0.0, which is always appreciated.
Our sever was very attentive. The food was large portions, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend going on your birthday!
The food was good. Either the portion was small or it was so good that we ate them all! Good service. The view was fantastic, too! It’s a great way to spend time right after a whale watching trip.
I had a wonderful dining experience at the Wind & Sea Restaurant in Dana Point, and a big part of that was thanks to Michael, the waiter who took care of me during my visit. From the moment I was seated, Michael was welcoming, attentive, and very professional. He made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal and checked in at just the right times to make sure I had everything I needed. Also the people he served around me. Great service can really elevate a meal, and Michael absolutely did that. I’m very grateful for the hospitality and would definitely look forward to coming back again.
Love this place! The location is on the dana point harbor so the views are fantastic. The mai tais and calamari strips were so good. They may not be here much longer due to construction of hotels, etc. so get here asap.
"I had an incredible experience with Dana Wharf! After a successful day on the water catching halibut and sheepshead, I took my fresh fillets over to Wind & Sea Restaurant nearby. For just $25 per person (sides included), the chef prepared our catch two ways: blackened and grilled. The quality was outstanding—this chef truly knows how to handle fresh fish. Everything was delicious, and I can’t recommend this 'hook and cook' option enough. The restaurant itself has stunning harbor views where you can watch the boats, see the seals, and catch a beautiful sunset. It was the perfect way to cap off our day!
Great view! Good food. Loved the Ahi plate and mud pie! Steak sandwich was not so great but they were kind enough to chenge it which was very nice. Mai Tai was Hawaiian quality. Loved it!
We stumbled upon this place while visiting Dana Point on Valentine’s Day weekend! It was such a nice find. We arrived in the evening and the restaurant was just a little busy. We manage to get seats with a nice view. Watching the sunset with my boyfriend while eating dessert was just the perfect day and such a beautiful sight to see. The food and drinks were good also. Nice portions and affordable. We will definitely be returning when we’re in the area again. Thank you☺️❤️
Beautiful restaurant with views in every direction. We sat outside and watched tours boats, yachts, jet skis and everything in between. We had stuffed ono and a seafood salad. Both were delicious. The service was amazingly fast and friendly. There was a line to get in, but it moved quickly. We were seated with 10 minutes.
Everything about this place is amazing. From the waiters, the food, the atmosphere, especially the view. We sat outside and enjoyed the harbor view. I’m definitely going to go there again and again. PLEASE keep everything as it is, and please keep the wait time for service shorter. Thanks to our waiter Michael for being so nice and helpful.
